In order to promote and enhance a high level of professional performance among its membership, CACM developed a Code of Professional Ethics and Standards of Practice. These guidelines have been adopted by the CACM Board of Directors as the official rules of conduct for members:

By agreeing to comply with this code, CACM members commit to practicing community management and operating their business with honesty and integrity.

As a result, CACM members are highly sought after in the community management industry, and their adherence to and promotion of this code communicates their dedication to upholding the professionalism of the industry.
