2011 Statewide Expo & ConferenceMore than 1,200 industry professionals joined the exploration at CACM's 20th Annual Statewide Expo & Conference, held July 28-29, 2011, at the Disneyland Hotel.
Attendees enjoyed two days of informative, fun-filled events and activities, with highlights including renowned keynote speakers Steve Rizzo and Vernice "FlyGirl" Armour; an Exhibit Hall full of nearly 200 leading service providers; and six concurrent education sessions focusing on timely topics, including employment law; Robert's Rules; technology tips; effective leadership; disaster recovery; and customized communications.
Other highlights included the Oath Ceremony, which recognized more than 200 managers who recently attained the Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM) designation; Club CACM, a lively dance party to round out the first day; and the Vision Awards Dinner & Ceremony, which honored the industry's most dedicated members.
