CACM stays up-to-date on legislative actions affecting the industry. Here, industry professionals and consumers can access information about pending bills and their progress through the legislature. You can also access a legislative year-end summary of the Governor’s decisions, as well as background information about how a bill becomes a law.

Note that changes occur frequently and quickly to bills while the Legislature is in session.

Bill Tracking Report

CACM works hard to stay connected to the latest happenings in Sacramento. CACM's Bill Tracking Report reviews and prioritizes current bills impacting the California CID industry, including CACM's position on each bill.

Governor’s Action Report
Each year California's Governor has to sign or veto proposed legislation, typically by September 30. CACM's Governor's Action Report, updated at the end of the legislative session, details the Governor's decisions on the most important bills affecting the California CID industry.
