Although, as an Employer, you will not be eligible to receive the reduced course fees, you may still "Host" CACM Educational Courses in your office. Affiliate firms are also eligible to
act as a "Host". Here are the program requirements:
- All CACM course offerings (California Law Courses, Ethics Courses, Professional Education Courses, Maintenance Courses, etc.) are eligible for a Hosted offering. Contact CACM for a Hosted BAM course offering as
different requirements exist for this course.
- CACM course hosts will be recognized in CACM’s advertising material for the course as the Host. The Host will be recognized or introduced at the offering but may not distribute marketing materials,
flyers, or any materials deemed to be of a solicitous nature.
- Any CACM member in good standing may act as a Host. CACM may consider non-members as Hosts on an individual basis (Example: IREM Chapters; ECHO)
- The Host must provide an adequate education facility as defined by CACM. This means an accessible location for the proposed audience; comfortable room temperature; adequate furniture in the room; at
least 30” lineal table space per student to accommodate student syllabi materials. The facility must be clean and maintained in a safe and sanitary manner. CACM reserves the right to inspect the proposed facility.
- The Host must set the room schoolroom style; provide a quality overhead projector with spare lamp; a clean large screen; flip chart and easel (or white board) and marking pens.
- Hosts must provide continental breakfast for morning courses and/or cold soft drinks and snacks for afternoon courses. Water must be provided to students throughout the day.
- CACM has sole responsibility and authority to select and compensate instructors to teach the offering(s).
- CACM will register students, send confirmations, maps and provide all course materials, name tent cards, highlighters, course syllabus, etc.
- CACM will advertise the offering.
- CACM, upon request by the host, will arrange for either a CACM staff member or an Area Coordinator to assist with registration; distribution of materials and assistance to instructors unless Host agrees
to assist in this way.
- All costs associated with the Hosted Offering (food, facility, audio visual, etc,) shall be borne by the Host.
