Correspondence Courses
CACM correspondence courses offer managers a convenient way to take both the BAM Series and the California Law Series courses. You will receive up-to-date course materials in the mail for each series of courses, which are both required for CCAM certification.

If you have two or more years of verifiable community management experience, you may qualify to take the following courses by correspondence:

CMM101-CMM102
Basics of Association Management (BAM) Series
Today's manager needs to be an expert in community management, facilities maintenance, financial affairs, leadership and more. The BAM Series includes two modules that provide a broad overview of the CID industry and specific requirements to meet your community's expectations. Learn more in the Education Catalog.

The exams for the BAM Series by correspondence must be successfully completed within three months of the course material receipt. The final exams for each module will be proctored at a location near you. View course fees.

CMM121-CMM124
California Law Series
This series includes four modules that explore the laws community managers must know and apply when managing or servicing community associations. Module topics include: Principles of California Law, Financial Management, Community Management, and Meetings and Records. Learn more in the Education Catalog.

The four quizzes and exams for the California Law Series by correspondence must be successfully completed within six months of the course material receipt. The final exams for each module will be proctored at a location near you. View course fees

Please note: These courses are required for CCAM certification; they are not eligible for continuing education units (CEUs). DRE credit is also not available for these courses when taken by correspondence.
