Close to 125 executives and business owners from around the state gathered at the Grand Del Mar in San Diego May 6-7 for two days of thought provoking sessions and networking opportunities at the 2010 CEO Business Forum.
The event opened with an interactive workshop led by the Table Group and based on the bestselling book, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team. Attendees were challenged to examine the health of their own organization, including its core purpose, values, goals and roles, and confront the five dysfunctions: absence of trust; fear of conflict; lack of commitment; avoidance of accountability; and inattention to results.
Attendees gathered for a VIP Welcome Reception & Dinner later in the evening, followed by day two of the forum featuring a 2010 Economic Forecast by Dr. Esmail Adibi, Director of A. Gary Anderson Center for Economic Research at Chapman University. A post conference session, Management Industry CEO Roundtable, allowed attendees to sit with peers and discuss pertinent industry issues in open discussions.
Here’s what a few 2010 attendees had to say:
"The Table Group trainers were OUTSTANDING in content and delivery. I took more useful information away from this conference than I do most. The training I get on high level issues is second to none."

"It gave me a new outlook on team building with ideas to apply when I return to work. We were engaged, never thinking of lunch breaks or other breaks. The speakers were riveting; they kept us engaged, offering helpful tools to improve our functions in the industry. You tipped the scales over the top on this one."
