Future Analysis and Change Management for
CACM and
the CID Industry
An Environmental Scan presented by The Forbes Group
Speaker: Richard O’Sullivan, Chief Economist
In 2007, CACM
determined that with the evolving real estate economy our
business practices were rapidly changing. As a result, we
decided to take a leadership role and identify emerging
opportunities. The Forbes Group was hired to perform a "futures"
scan to assess a strategic direction. This 25-year-old company,
specializing in helping trade and professional associations
think, plan and act strategically, will present the results of
the study in this session. Their findings will identify trends
that influence the future homeowners and residents of managed
communities; how they will differ from current community
association clients; how CACM
members will need to change to meet the new
demands of these residents; and the new professional
and commercial functions, certification
requirements, training and other products, services
and advocacy positions CACM must develop to
help its members make this transformation.
